Welcome to Bears Lake, our stunning 3.75 acre spring and stream fed lake located in its own private woodland in the heart of the beautiful countryside of the north Dordogne, close to the border with the Limousin.

The lakeside house is divided into two self-contained apartments and offers flexible accommodation for up six people in three bedrooms. It's a perfect location for families and couples as well as groups of up to 4 anglers, all available to book on an exclusive basis.

It's a specimen carp lake with carp to over 50lb and an excellent head of 30's and 40's. There are also several large Catfish and Grass Carp.

 

Almost everything an angler needs is included in the booking or available to hire. All that an angler needs to bring are reels, alarms, any special hook baits and end tackle.

 

Whilst many choose to drive, the lake is 50 minutes from Limoges airport with options from several UK airports. Car hire is available at the airport or alternatively we offer a pick up and drop off service.
